What is the class action claim?

The Board of Trustees allegedly breached its fiduciary duties to IBEW Local 827 union employees who participated in the IBEW Local Unions Savings & Security Plan (IBEW Local 827 Plan) by allowing the Scarborough Alliance to charge excessive fees to union employees for investments (estimates of fees charged are $4 million per year vs average of $250,000 per year.)

Who can join this class action?

Any current or former participants in the IBEW Local Unions Savings & Security Plan (IBEW Local 827 Plan).

What if I signed a severance agreement with a release of claims?

Severance agreements generally cannot prevent you from being part of a class action or a being a class representative in this type of case. Please contact us if you have more questions on your specific severance agreement.

Is there any cost to me?
